Measures of originality are simple: if nobody has thought of it before, then it’s original. Does the user recognise that your entry is completely different, and that this difference confers a definite competitive advantage.

Measures of innovation are simple: it’s innovative if it allows the user to change and improve their processes and procedures and achieve a superior outcome. Does the level of innovativeness enable the entry's originality? Does the level of innovativeness confer a competitive advantage? And have you protected the innovation in any way - eg: through patents or other measures.
